Celldol® 104 Range Surfactants
Celldol® products are unique, non-silicone surfactants particularly suited for paints, waterborne coatings, inks and adhesives. Celldol® surfactants provide a unique combination of performance benefits including dynamic wetting, defoaming and improving pigment dispersion. The unique chemical structure of these products provides multifunctional properties such as surface tension reduction, foam control and viscosity stabilization. Celldol® products are equivalent to the Surfynol® products offered by Air Products and Chemicals.
The base product, Celldol® 104 is an acetylenic diol (2,4,7,9-tetramethyl-5-decyn-4,7-diol, CAS #126-86-3) and is a solid in its pure form. Solutions are predominantly used due to their ease of handling and are available as follows:
